The Millionth time is finally the charm...

I guess you could say I am not good a this blogging thing. The last time i even drafted a post was back in 2014... and I can say a lot of things ,, well partly have changed since then.
I'm going to try to stick to this blog but as I have to use my boyfriends computer.. it's not likely I'll get to be on here as much as i like - he is an excessive gamer.
So what has been happening so far?
Well i cannot say a lot, however I did get a promotion! Which if anyone knows me.. I wanted it for so long. I used to be just a casual sales assistant at Poundland ( it's actually such a good place to work regardless of what anyone may think ) .. and i worked my utter butt off to the bone to try and prove my self. The thing at Poundland is that each department staff gets a section and it's up to you to fill it, clear away deliveries; order; correct book-stocks & do product checks. Depending on how well you do any of these gets you further up the retail ladder. I worked nearly 3 years on a 3 departments - Health & Beauty, Baby & Fashion. H&B was my utter pride and joy and no one else could/ can do it like me. I took a department and turned it from a £6,000 section to a £12,000 in a year. i had to push myself a lot. I came in early before my shifts just so i could get a head start. It was very sad but i was very dedicated. Of course, this got me noticed and even though i'd been promised it before - I finally got my chance at becoming a supervisor. Now, leadership my never my strong point but I took it ion my stride.
I became Amy - Supervisor of Poundland * a brand spanking new store * Ryde P797. It felt fucking great! I've been in my position for 3 months and i absolutely love my job so much so, that i actually got asked to become a stand in assistant manager. Yippee,. so now I am going on salary - and if i pass my trial and actually be good at it. The position is mine.  Fingers crossed. People may judge and think, why are you so happy about being at a pound shop?
Why?
cause it's such a good company to gain experience and work your way up the retail ladder. At 18 i never thought about being anything & yes supevisor isn't the best job in the world but i earn around £318 a week and that enough is keeping me going so eventually i can take the knowledge I have gained, and maybe search for another job. For now, alas, I am very happy where i have got to and it makes me insanely happy that i stuck it out. It was so worth it.

Dan and I have been together for 2.5 years. We moved out before however the flat we got was an awful mess therefore we had to move back in with his parents which was a massive bummer for us both. I like having my own space therefore.. having parents around just takes my independence away. Though, thankfully living there for 2 years gave me and Dan the opportunity to save our money up and after one quick glace + viewing later - We got another flat!
It's so cute and we are so in love with it! in 3 days we would have moved in for a month and i am so glad we nabbed this flat as fast as we did, cause it was so worth it.

So. Yes. What a ramble that was... now .. have some pictures!
